At last here are some videos from our first day of exploring New Orleans. This is a town that is rich in history, culture, sights, sounds, smells and experiences. Its people have experienced a lot; especially in the hours, days, weeks, months and years after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita bashed this gulf coast town in 2005. The rebuilding has been long and slow but it continues. So far we have been very well received by the locals who have shown themselves to be friendly and gracious hosts. We are happy to be here and they seem happy to have us. God is good!
