WEEK OF CHOCOLATE MILK.
This whole week has been inspiring and exciting. im so glad i was able to hop on that plane with our youth group and fly down to new orleans, i had no idea how exciting nor how much walking it truly would be. [[NOTICE TO PARENTS. Expect MUSCLES!]] hah, i have never gotten the chance to taste any kind of cajun food i usually stick to my chinese eggrolls. but this week i have tried more things than i have in the past year. i have gotten to try, jumbalaya , fried oysters, hush puppies, fried rice and shrimp[ chinese ] shrimp fettucini with oyster and crawfish. YUMMY. we met a man named Noah at a restraunt in the french quarter. we went there once for breakfast and once for dinner, he just happens to be the man on the youtube vid. that cooked the crawfish we ATE today. we even got a lesson with the waiter that served us on how to eat it. we met some cool people and there would always be conga lines in the superdome and highfive lines down the street as we walked to and from places. we had beignetts , I DOUBT I SPELLED THAT RIGHT. which seemed like funnel cake. but in the shape of a crescent thinggy. i have more to tell, but .. i think i should let jamie write his blog now [:
